Final Workshop on Data Protection by Design in Smart Cities

On 05 November 2018 the final workshop of the research project “Data Protection by Design in Smart Cities” took place. The aim of the workshop was to conduct a discussion on the basis of the data protection impact assessment developed in the research project. Furthermore, the specific content requirements, rules and test procedures within the framework of possible data protection codes of conduct (CoC) were elaborated on the basis of the proposed Data Protection by Design Framework. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Max von Grafenstein, the workshop was held in cooperation with the Berlin data protection authority and representatives of Cisco.
