Michaels research is focused on platform-based business models and multi-sided markets. During his time as a visiting researcher at the HIIG, Michael investigated the role of entrepreneurial signaling in the crowdfunding context. His work has been published in international journals and the proceedings of conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS).
