João da Mata

João da Mata came in October 2015 from Brazil to Berlin in order to complete a master’s degree in media science at the Humboldt University. He studied four years Media and Communication Studies with an emphasis in journalism at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil as well as one year Social Sciences at the University of Augsburg. In 2009 he completed a technical course in informatics in Brazil.

João has already acquired seven years of work experience as designer, web developer, researcher, journalist and autonomous communication’s consultant in Brazil and also as intern at the press-office of the German Parlament altogether.

On Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, he works since August 2016 on Team Innovation & Entrepreneurship by supporting the project Kompetenzzentrum Mittelstand 4.0.
