Asal Dardan
Asal Dardan supported the HIIG as a knowledge coordinator for the project “Platform Alternatives“.
Before working at the HIIG, she studied Cultural Studies at Hildesheim University and Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University and co-edited an anthology on the remembrance of the Holocaust in film (Bertz+Fischer). She has also worked for various international film festivals in Berlin and Cologne. As a freelance writer she has contributed to publications including Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Berliner Zeitung as well as Zeit Online.
