Student assistant (m/f/d) in the OrA Project

The Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) is looking for a committed student assistant as soon as possible.
Student assistant (m/f/d) in the OrA Project (80 hours/month)
In the research program “Knowledge and Society”, we investigate the transformation of knowledge production, organization, and communication through digital innovations. Our current research project, “Organizational Adaptivity in the German Higher Education Context” (OrA) explores the digitalization of higher education, with a focus placed on examining teaching and learning innovations.
Your tasks:
- Conducting independent research in the field of higher education and organizational research (e.g. literature review)
- (Co)writing (academic) texts and proofreading
- Assisting in the organization of fieldwork (e.g. surveys)
- Supporting the planning of events (e.g. workshops) and reporting
- Supporting external communication (e.g. for our website)
Your qualifications:
- Enrolled in a higher education institution; preferably in a social science degree program
- Interest in the research focus of the OrA project
- Experience in writing academic texts
- Fluent in English and German
- Enjoys working in an interdisciplinary research team and has the ability to communicate across disciplines
- Possess an independent and reliable workstyle, in addition to a curious mindset and passion for innovative thinking and collaboration
