Daniel Pothmann
Daniel Pothmann has been working as a project assistant for knowledge transfer & the research project Public Interest AI at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society since November 2022.
During his bachelor studies in business law (LL.B.) at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, Daniel specialized in the digital economy in Europe and wrote his bachelor thesis on the topic of ‘Artificial Intelligence as an advertising tool in the attention economy in light of EU law’. He took the approach of using interdisciplinary perspectives from law, economics and psychology to examine current legislation for their protective effectiveness towards end consumers. Currently, Daniel is pursuing his Master of Science in Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
Previously, Daniel was a Student Assistant for Business & Legal Affairs at Universal Music, where he worked on various types of contracts in the area of copyright law.
