Bendert Zevenbergen
Ben is a doctoral candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) at the University of Oxford, UK.
His research aims to inform privacy impact assessments for emerging Internet technologies by enhancing or strengthening existing information privacy theory. Further, Ben is working on a project titled “Ethics in Networked Systems Research”, where he is setting up ethical guidelines for Internet research.
Ben is a lawyer from Amsterdam, where he practiced law and also worked as a policy advisor in the European Parliament on information and internet policy before commencing his PhD. He holds a masters in information law from the University of Amsterdam.
