Empowering Futures: Women, AI, and the Future of Work

Spring School
17 – 20 February 2025
Delhi, India

How can we (co-)shape a diverse future in the workforce? What role will Artificial Intelligence (AI) play, and how can we rise to the challenges it presents? And what challenges and opportunities will open up for women in a workplace shaped by AI? The Spring School 2025 focuses on these central questions and provides a platform for female students without a technological background, from Bangladesh, Germany, India, and Viet Nam.

The Spring School combines interdisciplinary perspectives, hands-on collaboration, and academic expertise to strengthen the role of women in technological transformation. Initiated by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the programme bridges the gap between theory, practice, and diversity in the workplace.

If you have any further questions about the Spring School, please contact Sarah Spitz via sarah.spitz@hiig.de.

*By the term female students, we mean all people who identify with the term woman.
