Join us for an afternoon of inspiration and networking with Mónica A. Ramos Li, as we delve into the working world of a woman* in the tech sector in Latin America. Mónica is an industrial engineer, a social entrepreneur, and an advocate for more representation of women* in technology. She is the co-founder of Musa, a tech company that transforms traditional training content into Musa’s mobile micro-learning methodology that can be accessed through WhatsApp chatbot anywhere, anytime.

During the event, Mónica will share her personal journey, challenges, and triumphs as a woman* in this industry. Her talk will cover a range of issues women* and marginalized groups have to overcome in IT, including pay inequity, limited career advancement opportunities, and the lack of representation in leadership roles. Mónica’s interview will inspire and empower you to break down barriers and pursue your passions in the tech industry.

The talk will last approximately 20 minutes and will be followed by a networking session with snacks and drinks, where you can meet other like-minded individuals and exchange ideas. Whether you are a student, entrepreneur, or working professional, this event is an opportunity to gain insight into the experiences of women* in the tech industry, learn from a successful entrepreneur, and expand your professional network. Don’t miss this chance to be inspired and empowered.

The event is organised as part of the Women* in Tech project, which is implemented by HIIG and funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
