Roundtable IV: AI and Women*

In the context of the implementation of the White Paper on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Representation of the European Commission in Germany in cooperation with the AI & Society Lab at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) is organizing four Roundtables on AI and various key topics with stakeholders from business, science, politics and civil society.

The aim of the series of events was to:

  • to continue the exchange between different interest groups on the topic of AI on the basis of concrete practical examples;
  • to find out what makes Europe a valuable research location and what a European AI could look like in concrete terms;
  • to identify barriers, regulatory gaps and gaps in the funding landscape and to discuss what conditions a market for European AI needs;
  • to strengthen personal contacts between the participants in order to initiate joint initiatives.
