on Micro-Credentials about Artificial Intelligence
Friday, 8 November 2024 | 4.00 – 5.10 pm (IST)
ITC Windsor, Bengaluru, India
With digitalisation revolutionising the global labour market, flexible educational formats are needed to meet the emerging demands for professionals to be. Micro-credentials therefore offer a unique solution to acquire new skill sets that are both applicable to real-world problems and actionable in a short period of time.
This workshop offers a deep dive into the foundational micro-credential “Unpacking AI” that is being developed by HIIG as part of the project Strengthening Digital Skills through Micro-Credentials. Participants will be guided through a hands-on exploration of the intermediate state of the AI micro-credential using a user story testing approach. While navigating through the micro-credentials on the basis of predefined tasks, participants discuss and reflect their experiences in order to improve upon the development process.
In order to embed the foundational micro-credential into a bigger learning pathway that allows learners to increasingly improve their skills around the impact, effect and meaning of AI for the labour market, this workshop will also include a mapping of competences and topics for the learning pathway around AI.
