Kim Lane Scheppele, Prof. Dr. Ph.D.
Kim Lane Scheppele is Laurance S. Rockefeller Professor of Sociology and International Affairs in the Woodrow Wilson School and served as Director of the Program in Law and Public Affairs at Princeton University from 2005 until 2015. She joined the Princeton University’s Program in Law and Public Affairs in 2005 after she had spent nearly a decade at the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, wher LAPA fellow (2004-2005), a former fellow at the Internationales Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften (Vienna, 1995), a senior fellow at the National Constitution Center (1998-1999), a faculty fellow at the Michigan Institute for the Humanities (1991-1992) and the recipient of multiple grants from the American National Science Foundation for residential field work abroad. After 1989, she focused her attention on the transformation of the countries under Soviet domination into constitutional rule-of-law states.
