Paul Gebelein, Dr.
Paul Gebelein studied Sociology and Philosophy at Justus Liebig University Giessen. He wrote his doctoral thesis at TU Darmstadt on the relation between social practice, technology and space as a member of the research training group „Topology of Technology“ funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Following his PhD he was Post-Doc at Multimedia Communications Lab (KOM) and in the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1053 MAKI („Multi-Mechanisms Adaption for the Future Internet“) also at TU Darmstadt.
At HIIG Paul Gebelein was project lead in the research group Internet Policy and Governance. His research interests include social practice, technology and governance.
