This interdisciplinary workshop offers participants the opportunity to engage with the editorial chapbooks project, Pliegos.net. As a digital humanities initiative grounded in community collaboration, this project revitalises the historical tradition of chapbooks. It merges open knowledge approaches to collaborative writing of ethnographic significance with traditional printing methods and FLOSS online tools. This fusion generates localized knowledge at the nexus of cultural heritage and modern participatory practices.

Ricard Espelt, Enric Senabre Hidalgo and Marcantoni Malagarriga will showcase the co-creation editorial work focusing on the impact of AI on music creation and the pivotal role of public policies, framed within chapbook dialogues. These discussions are set to take place during the re:publica conference in Berlin, scheduled for 27-29 May 2024.

Additionally, participants are invited to a complimentary watercolour session that harmonizes artistic expression with the creation of editorial chapbooks, facilitated through Pliegos.net.
